You could say Mike Nova began his tribute to Elvis Presley before the King's untimely death. By sheer chance, Mike caught the Elvis movie ' Loving You ' on TV at home in 1975 and was hooked from that very moment and decided he was going to become a performer! 

Mike has been bringing his incredible Elvis tribute act to venues around the UK since 2006. With over 10 years of experience as ‘The King’, Mike has plaudits and fans aplenty.

22nd May 2022 MARIO KOMBOU has won the inaugural UK Elvis Tribute Artist Championships in Blackpool with an outstanding performance in the finals to narrowly beat Brian Troy from Denmark (2nd) and Oliver Steinhoff (3rd) from Germany.

Mario trained as an actor and has starred in film, television and theatre around the world. His leading role in the hit London West End musical production of “Jailhouse Rock” ran successfully for a year and a half at the Piccadilly theatre.

Currently, Mario and some of the cast of “Jailhouse Rock” are touring the UK with the musical production “The Elvis Years”. The show tells the incredible story of how a poor boy from Tupelo, Mississippi went on to become the greatest musical icon the world has seen – and will ever see. 

 As well as winning Images of the King, Mario has been a finalist in the “Ultimate Elvis Contest” in Memphis on several occasions.
